ROLAND TYE

Roland has always wanted to be a writer, thinking up the story of Weekender 16 years ago. He is inspired by people overcoming adversity, particularly those who have lost everything. Roland has met Syrians through his work who defied incredible odds in order to start a new life in the UK. One of the characters in Weekender – Mr Palavar – has made such a journey and is a symbol of hope in the novel.

Roland is currently playing around with a few ideas for a second novel.

NOTE: As of June 2021,the print edition of Weekender is no longer published by Comely Bank Publishing, although the book may continue to be available in the years to come, either through remaindered copies or through print-on-demand.

The EBOOK remains available from Amazon Kindle.
