Jane Tulloch
Jane Tulloch was born in Edinburgh in 1954 where she has lived and worked ever since, although work – mostly with the NHS working in the field of autism – has taken her to the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Bangladesh, South Africa and various points in between. She writes for relaxation from her work in this demanding but fascinating field.
She lives with her husband, giant cat and occasional welcome interruption by boisterous grandsons. Her first novel Our Best Attention, published early in 2016, was a Blackwell's Scottish bestseller, and she followed it up two years later with a sequel, Assured Attention.
Jane's books attracted a following amongst those interested in the true history of Edinburgh's lost department stores, and she has found herself in demand as a guest speaker to local groups on the subject. These days, her fiction is to be found in the popular D. C. Thompson magazine The People's Friend.
