Comely Bank Publishing is delighted to welcome Lucy Lloyd as the latest addition to its group of authors.
Lucy grew up in Glasgow, then made the short crossing to live in Edinburgh via St Andrews, Cambridge and London. Although she studied biochemistry, she probably spent more time on astroturf or in a boat than she ever did in a lab.
Lucy still loves the sporting life, but now has to fit it around childcare as opposed to her career in the BBC making radio programmes.
As someone who generally talks too quickly to be understood, writing suits Lucy down to the ground, and the unending requests for mystery adventure stories from her daughters mean she’ll always have an appreciative audience.
