We continue to develop this online bookshop. Please note that payments made for ebooks through this website go directly to the author. Payments for print copies are made through the Comely Bank Publishing account. Please note that current legislation requires that VAT be levied on ebooks at UK rate, 20%. The UK doesn't currently levy VAT on printed books, and now that we've left the EU we could dispense with VAT on ebooks, too... but the UK Government has chosen not to. Prices below are for books shipped within the UK by Royal Mail 2nd class post. Delivery should be within 3 days or so.
A word about Amazon. All of our books are also available on Amazon but you should be aware that in 2017 they increased their charges to 38%-46% of the list price. If you can, support your local bookseller. They'd love to grab 46% on every sale. However we recognise that booksellers can't stock every book so all of our titles are also available prtint-on-demand from Amazon, as well as e-books. If you can, please buy your ebooks from us direct. Why should Amazon take 40% to do nothing?
If you're looking to help us make a little more without costing you anything, please consider emailing us instead and paying your money direct. But even the banks have become mean: they've brought in maintenance charges that we can't sustain. What we'd suggest you do is to email us, wait for us to acknowledge, then we'll tell you what to pay us. You could pay by PayPal, or direct into the author's account It really does make a difference.
