Gordon Lawrie
Gordon Lawrie founded Comely Bank Publishing in 2012 to create an association through which aspiring authors could self-publish with as little pain as possible.
A former Modern Studies secondary school teacher in Edinburgh, his academic background is in political science and history. Gordon is primarily responsible for managing Comely Bank Publishing's administration, including ISBNs, distribution of books, print management and cover design (although he tends to leave the actual design to professionals if possible).
Gordon's debut novel Four Old Geezers And A Valkyrie was published as an ebook in 2012, then in print in 2013. In addition, Gordon also has a background in IT and manages a number of websites, including Friday Flash Fiction.
