Our current outlet for aspiring writers is Dean Park Press. This imprint aims to provide authors with a chance to self-publish books that wouldn't quite otherwise fit our criteria – perhaps they're non-fiction, or have been published elsewhere previously and are now looking for a second home.
Authors will still be self-publishing and full control, and Comely Bank Publishing will still oversee and administer the author's finished product. And your book will still have to meet our fairly exacting standards!

The main difference will be that, unlike our books published through the Comely Bank Publishing collective, authors will not be expected to offer quid-pro-quo assistance to each other. Instead, we will work directly with the author, offering advice on editing, covers, typesetting and printing, as well as helping to create ebooks. We will also manage the book's ISBN.
However, it's a lot of work. Even reading your manuscript in the first instance is time-consuming and even working with your lovingly-produced final draft can be a bit of a grind. So we can't provide this service for free. We won't rip you off, though. All prices are negotiable, because no two books are the same and not everyone needs all of the services we currently offer. Above all, you are self-publishing: this is not vanity publishing and you will be in control of your book at all times.
