On 3rd August, Gordon Lawrie returned to Blackwell's Writers at the Fringe for the first time since 2013, alongside four fine writers: novelists Jane MacKenzie, Hania Allen and Olga Wojtas, together with poet Rita Bradd. Gordon spoke for a while about his new book The Blogger Who Came in from the Cold and read a short extract. Normally Gordon would then close with music from the new book. This time, however, he talked more about the interaction of music and fiction in his work and sang a new song, The Shores of Caledonia. Here's an excerpt from his performance.
